What is Screen Printing?

Curious how your custom hoodie comes to life? Screen printing is the process of applying a permanent decoration to a garment by pushing ink through a stencil on a screen. Screen printing is achieved using high quality equipment which creates long lasting prints. It also allows us to give options of ink types (ie. metallic or glitter inks) to elevate your design.

SCREEN PRINT TECHNIQUES

One Colour
Print

One-colour screen printing is a cost-effective, high-contrast printing method where a single layer of ink is forced through a prepared stencil onto your apparel. Commonly used for simple logos or text, though it can also produce high detailed designs.

Multi-Colour
Print

Bring your multicolor logo to life! A detailed process that applies multiple ink colors to a surface by using a separate, precisely registered mesh screen for each color

CMYK Printing

CMYK screen printing is a 4-color process that uses translucent Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks layered in halftone dots to reproduce full-color, photorealistic images

Half-Tone
Printing

Halftone screen printing is a technique that uses varying sizes of tiny ink dots to create the illusion of shades, gradients, and photographic detail using only a single screen and color. It converts continuous-tone images into printable black-and-white dot patterns, where larger dots create darker tones and smaller dots create lighter tones, which the eye blends together.

Puff Printing

Puff screen printing uses a special heat-activated additive mixed with the screen print ink to create a raised, 3D, and tactile effect upon curing. Ideal for bold designs!
