Custom Apparel Policy

   1. Custom Orders

Most products sold by FM Promotions are custom decorated items including screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, or other decoration methods.

Because these products are custom made to order, they may not be returned or exchanged except in cases of manufacturing defects or production errors.

   2. Artwork Approval

Customers may be required to review and approve artwork proofs before production begins.

It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review all details including:

  • Spelling

  • Artwork placement

  • Colors

  • Sizing and positioning

Once artwork is approved, FM Promotions is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.

   3. Artwork Quality

Customers are responsible for providing artwork files that meet production requirements.

If artwork requires modification, recreation, or preparation for production, additional design or setup charges may apply.

   4. Production Variations

Due to the nature of custom decoration processes, minor variations may occur including:

  • Slight color differences

  • Small variations in logo placement

  • Thread or ink variations

  • Minor size differences in printed or embroidered designs

These variations are considered normal within industry standards.

   5. Order Quantities

Orders may vary slightly from the quantity ordered due to production processes.

An industry standard overrun or underrun of up to 5% may occur on certain custom orders.

Customers will only be billed for the quantity actually delivered.

   6. Returns and Exchanges

Custom decorated products cannot be returned or exchanged unless:

  • The wrong item was produced

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

  • The decoration was applied incorrectly compared to the approved proof

Any issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving the order.

   7. Production Time

Estimated production times are provided as guidelines and may vary depending on:

  • Order size

  • Product availability

  • Artwork approval timing

  • Supplier delays

FM Promotions is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or events outside of our control.

   8. Customer Supplied Garments

If customers provide their own garments for decoration, FM Promotions is not responsible for:

  • Damage during the decoration process

  • Garment defects or inconsistencies

  • Replacement of garments damaged during production

Customers assume this risk when supplying their own items.

   9. Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

If a cancellation is requested before production begins, any design, setup, or administrative costs may still apply.
